Returns & exchanges
Changed your mind? No Problem, we’re here to help!
We make returns easy and hassle-free. Here’s how it works:
Start Your Return: Visit our return portal at shopunderstatement.com/returns to register your return. You’ll need your order number and email to complete the process.
Return Deadline: You must file your return within 14 days of receiving your order.
Important Note: The right of withdrawal or return does not apply to sealed goods or items unsuitable for return due to health and hygiene reasons, if their tags have been removed after delivery.
Condition of Items: If products show clear signs of use, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.
Sale Items: Sale items can be returned, provided they meet our standard return conditions: unworn, unwashed, and with tags intact.
If you used the “Buy 1 bralette, get 1 free panty” offer, the following applies: If you return only the bralette, we’ll deduct the price of the panty. If you return only the panty, no refund is given. Return both to get a full refund.

When you buy any full-price bralette, you get a free panty included in the offer.
How to use the offer:
- Add one full-price bralette and one panty to your cart.
- Apply the exclusive discount code at checkout to get the panty for free.
- This offer only applies to full-price items (excluding swimwear), is available for a limited time, and can’t be combined with other promotions.
Return rules for this offer:
- If you return only the free panty, you won’t get a refund because the panty has no standalone value.
- If you return only the bralette but keep the panty, the full price of the panty will be deducted from your refund.
- If you return both items together, you’ll get a full refund for the bralette and no deductions will be made.

We do not include return labels in your order. To begin the return process, please follow these steps:
- Visit Our Return Page: Go to shopunderstatement.com/returns.
- Register Your Return: Provide your order number and email address to register your return.
- Check Your Email: After registering, you’ll receive an automated email with further instructions. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, please check your junk or spam folder.

Discounted Items:
If your order included a "Buy One, Get One Free" bundle or similar discount, refunds will be calculated proportionally for the returned item.
Product Condition:
Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags intact. If items show clear signs of use, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.
Refund Processing Time:
We process returns within 14 working days of receiving them.
If you’re not satisfied with the size of your purchase, we offer a hassle-free exchange process within 14 days of receiving your order. Follow these simple steps:
Exchange Process
- Place a New Order (Exchanges only apply to the same product in a different size. If it)
- Register Exchange via our return portal
It will need the original order number and email for registration. Make a note of the new order number. - Follow Return Instructions:
Once registered, you will receive an email with return label and further instructions on proceeding. Please check your junk mail if you have yet to receive the email within a couple of minutes of registration. - Refund Process:
After we receive the returned items, we will refund you for that item and also adjust for any discounts you have from the original order. Your refund will be made into your original payment method.
Important Notes
- Condition of Returns:
Sealed goods or items removed from their tags cannot be returned, exchanged, or withdrawn for hygiene and health protection reasons. Items showing clear signs of use may also be declined for refund. - Bundles and Discounts:
If returning items purchased as part of a bundle, any discount applied will be proportionally adjusted across the items.
We provide a pre-paid shipping label for 39 SEK in Sweden and from 4.99€ to 15€ for the rest of the world. The fee will be deducted from your refund payment. Please note that import duties for a return shipment are not covered by Understatement.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 14 working days after we receive and review your return.
- During holiday periods, the processing time may be longer than usual.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued. Please check spam folder
Shopping & orders
No worries, we got you covered! Finding the right size ain't easy and that's why we have simplified sizes at Understatement as finding the right bralette or panties shouldn't be a miracle or painful. Just choose from XS to XXXL and that's it (please note that we don't offer all products in all sizes yet but are aiming to get this done as we speak).
Here are some tips:
- Use the body measurement and check the size guide to get the right size
- The Support+ Bralette is prefect if you have a fuller cup and want that little extra support
- If you like Triangle Bralette but prefer a bit more cover, try our Balconette or Plunge bralette
- If you have tried our product but with the underband ride up, properly means it is too loose. Try to close it on a smaller hook or going down a size

Keep your Understatement pieces looking fresh and lasting longer with these care tips:
1. Wash at a Cold Temperature:
We recommend washing at a maximum of 30°C/86°F.
Cold washing is gentler on your panties and better for the environment. Hand wash for all silk items
2. Use a Laundry Wash Bag: Place your pieces in a laundry wash bag to protect the fabric and prevent damage to delicate garments.
3. Check the Product Page: For specific care instructions, refer to the WEAR & CARE section under each product on our website.
4. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
5. Use mild laundry detergent

Please note that it is not possible to add a discount code once the order has been placed. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, sale items or special promotions.
Yes, we do offer gift wrapping. You can add it during checkout to have your order beautifully wrapped and ready to gift. Perfect for special occasions or just to treat someone you love.

Shipping & delivery
Once your order is placed, please allow 1–3 business days for it to be packed and shipped from our warehouse. When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.
Please note that it may take up to 24 hours before the tracking link becomes active.
If you chose Budbee as your delivery method, they will send you a separate email with tracking updates. If you can’t find it in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. We also recommend downloading the Budbee app for a smoother experience, where you can track your order, change delivery preferences, and get real-time updates.

Delivery times vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. During busy periods such as sales or holidays, both processing and delivery may take a little longer.

Absolutely! We strive to make our products available to customers all around the world. We currently ship to all Europe, the UK, the US, Australia, UAE and several Asian countries. To check if we deliver to your location, simply use the pull-down menu at shop to see if your country is listed.

Depending on the country and adress your are ordering to we offer several different shipping options.All our shipments are trackable and you will receive a tracking link with your shipping confirmation e-mail.For shipments with local postal services or local last mile partners you normally will receive your package directly home to your mailbox. If for some reason the parcel can't be delivered to your mailbox, it will go to your local postal service or postal service partner and you will be notified when and where to pick it up.

Shipping cost varies depending on country and shipping method you choose. Just go to the check-out and see what the actual cost for your order is.
For countries outside the EU import tax and/or import duty may apply (for most countries though there is a certain threshold below which no tax and/or duty applies). Please check with your local authorities to make sure there are no surprises as Understatement is not responsible to cover such taxes or duties.
UK: orders below 135 £ are free from tax and duty. Find more information on the website of the UK Government.

Shipments that do not fit in your mailbox are usually held at your local delivery office or service point for approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
If you select the box/delivery point service, you will receive an SMS or email notification with an access PIN code to retrieve your package.
Please note: If you do not collect your package within the specified time frame, it will be returned to us, and handling fees will apply.
