ORDERS & AVAILABILITY
Understatement has set up a webshop on this site and customers can place their orders through our webshop.
An order confirmation will be sent by email when the order is placed. Understatement does not guarantee that all items included in the Understatement webshop are in stock at the time of the order. In the event that an item is unavailable, Understatement will contact you shortly by email.
These terms and conditions apply to all purchase orders submitted to Understatements webshop on www.shopunderstatement.com (in the following referred to as the ”webshop”), this covering all purchase agreements that a consumer enters into from a distance with Lager & Stolt, hereinafter referred to as ”Understatement” or ”we”. These terms and conditions may be updated and vary over time. Please make sure you read them thoroughly.

A binding purchase agreement is entered into as soon as your order has been confirmed by us and an order confirmation has been sent from Understatement to the e-mail address you submitted. If an item happens to run out of stock before the status has been correctly updated on the webshop, Understatement will notify you of this by e-mail. We may then suggest an alternative item, or cancel the order in question. If incorrect price information has been shown on the webshop you will be offered to either purchase the item to the correct price, or cancel the order. Understatement reserves the right to decline or rescind a purchase agreement if fraud or other actions similar to fraud, such as unlawful use of another person’s credit card, can be suspected.
Understatement have tried to accurately reproduce the colors in the website photography as similar as possible. Understatement cannot guarantee that the actual product is the exact same color as perceived on your computer screen as it may vary from different computers, cell phones, ipads etc.
Understatement reserves the right to end the sale and any price errors.
To place an order in the webshop you must be at least 18 years old and not under guardianship.
Our trademarks include (amongst others) the Understatements name and logo. These trademarks may be used or registered in more than one country and your use of this web site does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.
RETURN & EXCHANGES
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Understatement. However, if you do decide to return your purchased item, you may do so within 14 days from the day the item was delivered to your service point. In this case, you must contact Understatement (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 14 days after delivery. If you do not collect your package within 14 days, the package will be returned to Understatement. Please note that you will have to pay the delivery cost for the returned package to Understatement.
As a consumer, please note that you will be liable for any diminished value of an item resulting from how you have handled the item beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.
Understatement may therefore reduce the amount of money refunded for items which show evidence of being e.g. damaged or dirty. The price tags, hang tags and labels must have been removed for the purchased item.
Purchased items are exchangeable into a different size and color. All exchanges are based on stock availability. Free exchanges on orders over 600SEK within Sweden and over 150Euro within EU & Norway. The costs for shipping a return or exchange (on orders below 600SEK in Sweden and below 150Euro in EU&Norway) to Understatement are not covered or reimbursed by us. Exchanged goods are sent out free of charge.Items on sale are non-exchangeable but can be returned.
All personal information, such as name, address and e-mail address, which you will provide when registering on the website or when placing an order with Understatement will be handled with outmost care and in accordance with GDPR.
In case of Force Majeure, the obligations of Understatement will be suspended. The contract between you and Understatement can, in those cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Understatement. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or Internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Understatement will of course do all we can to solve the problem for our customers as soon as possible.
The order amount will be held on your card once your order has been placed.
Your card will be charged as soon as your order is confirmed and dispatched from our warehouse. We accept payment with credit card or invoice.
INVOICE PAYMENT BY COLLECTOR
We, together with Collector Bank AB, offer both payment with invoice and partial payment plans. When you choose to pay with invoice you take delivery of you order before you pay. You can then choose to pay the whole amount or split it into partial payments. The invoice gives you 30 days to pay. A invoice fee of 19 SEK is added to your purchase.
You can only pay with invoice or partial payment plan if the delivery adress is your registered adress and you are 18 years or older. When you receive your invoice you can choose to make partial payments for up to 36 months by paying the lowest amount specified on the invoice. If you choose the partial payment plan you also have to pay a interest of 19,2% per year.
A smaller credit rating might be done which means your credit information will be collected. In case of delayed or failed payments a delayed payment penalty and penalty interest will be added.

TERMS OF SHIPPING/DELIVERY
Orders will leave our warehouse within 24hours after order placement on business days.
Swedish orders will be delivered to your nearest Service Point in Sweden at a fee of 49 SEK. Normal delivery time is 2-5 business days (weekdays). International orders will be delivered within 3-7 working days. The shipping fee for delivery to other European countries is 10 Euro and outside of Europe 39 Euro.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the address reported in the order is correct Understatement can not be held liable for any delays which we cannot influence, such as unexpected events during shipment.
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Thus, Import duties, taxes and charges are your responsibility and not included in the item price or shipping charges. A good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order so that you are aware of the possible charges.
Items that are delivered by Posten are retained at the local delivery office for 2 weeks. After this time the item will be returned to Understatement. You will be charged for the shipping fees. Please keep in mind that you have to collect the item if you wish to use your right of withdrawal.
These Terms and Conditions are in accordance with Swedish law.
The laws of your country may differ from Swedish law. Users should comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations regarding the use of our website.
