Force Majeure
In case of Force Majeure, the obligations of Understatement will be suspended. The contract between you and Understatement can, in those cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Understatement. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or Internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Understatement will of course do all we can to solve the problem for our customers as soon as possible.

Privacy Policy
All personal information provided by you at the time of placing an order, registering on our website or signing up for our newsletter will be handled in accordance with the European GDPR law. We will only collect the information that is necessary to provide you with the services we offer and to fulfil orders placed by you through our website.

Orders & Availability
Understatement has set up a webshop on this site and customers can place their orders through our webshop. An order confirmation will be sent by email when the order is placed. A binding purchase agreement is entered into as soon as your order has been confirmed by us and an order confirmation has been sent from Understatement to the e-mail address you provided to us.

Uncollected Items
Shipments that do not fit the mailbox will normally be retained at the local delivery office or service point for 2 weeks. After this time the shipment will be returned to Understatement and if you’d like it to be sent again you will have to contact us, and you will be liable to pay for the extra shipping fees. If we are not contacted in a timely manner for a shipment to be resent the items contained within the shipment will be processed as if it had been a return.

Please keep in mind that you have to collect the shipment if you wish to use your right of withdrawal. See our page on Return & Exchanges for more information.

Products & Services
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the service will be corrected. We have tried to as accurately as possible to reproduce the colors and images of our products that appear in the store. We cannot guarantee that your device screen’s display of any color will be accurate.

Understatement reserves the right, but are not obligated to, limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

Customer Account & Billing Information
Understatement reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may at our discretion limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Understatement reserves the right to decline or rescind a purchase agreement if fraud or other actions similar to fraud, such as unlawful use of another person’s credit card, can be suspected. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

By placing an order at our webshop you agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and account information. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Payment
The order amount will be held on your card once your order has been placed. Once the order is confirmed and dispatched from our warehouse your card will be charged. We accept payments made with credit card or invoice via Klarna AB, and through PayPal. Please refer to their respective website for further information about payment terms, methods and use.

Shipping/Delivery
Orders will be shipped from our warehouse within 24 hours after order placement on business days. Normal delivery time is 2-3 business days within Sweden, and 3-8 business days (depending on country of residence) for International orders.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided at the placement of the order is correct, and we cannot be held liable for any delays which we cannot influence – such as unexpected events during shipment transit. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Thus, import duties, taxes and charges are your responsibility and not included in the item price or shipping charges. It is a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order so that you are aware of the possible extra charges.

Returns/Exchanges
If you decide to return your purchased item(s), you may do so within 14 days from the day the item was delivered to you or your closest service point. In this case, you must contact our Customer Service (info@shopunderstatement.com) within 14 days after delivery. Please note that you will have to pay for the delivery cost of the returned shipment to Understatement.

As a consumer, you will be liable for any diminished value of an item returned to us resulting from how you have handled the item beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the item. Understatement may therefore reduce, partially or fully, the amount of money refunded for items that show evidence of being worn, damaged or dirty. In addition, the item must have their hang tag and labels still attached to be viable for return or exchange.

Purchased items are exchangeable into other items of the same type but of a different size or color. If an item can be exchanged is solely based upon our current stock availability at the time that we were contacted by you. Items that were bought during a sale or otherwise had its pricing reduced are not eligible for an exchange but can be returned.
