Initiator #metoo Sweden, Crossed Atlantic 9 times, TEDxSpeaker

Carolin Solskär – former sailor with a double major in Computer Science & Business. She is the co-initiator of ME TOO Sweden – a manifestation against sexual violence and harassment, as an answer to #metoo. Her biggest passion in life is entrepreneurship, wherein she can be creative and thrive in a fast-paced environment to coach others and help people grow.

“I have, like many others, always had problems with my body in different ways. You look at yourself and see “imperfections” and things you don’t like. Taking pictures of my body and looking at the photos, is a fantastic way to make peace with my body, and instead, look at it and think “damn you look great”. We are heading towards a world where women help and support each other, and we start to understand the value that if another woman succeeds, I succeed too.”

What is sisterhood to you?
Sisterhood to me is about fighting together and lifting each other up. The power of knowing your belonging, knowing that you are not alone but have individuals around you who support you, it is extremely empowering.
